Enhanced Access Appointments

The surgery may be able to book an appointment for you with the GP Enhanced Access Service, please contact the practice for this service.

Please note that your consent will be required in order for an appointment to be booked for you.

Appointments are available:

  • Monday - Friday 18:30 - 20:00
  • Saturday – 09:00 – 17:00

These appointments will either be on the telephone, online, via video consultation or in face to face

Training Closures

Throughout the year the Practice will close for one afternoon a month for staff training. On these days the opening hours are 08:00 - 12:30.

The dates for 2023 / 2024 so far are as follows:

  • 20th September 2023
  • 18th October 2023
  • 15th November 2023
  • 17th January 2024
  • 14th February 2024
  • 20th March 2024

Please check the posters and display screens around the surgery for any last minute changes to these details.

We will re-open at 08:00 on the following day.

When We Are Closed

When the Surgery is closed please call 111; they may be able to book an appointment for you with the GP Extended Access Service - subject to availability. Please note that your consent will be required in order for an appointment to be booked for you

Only call 111 if:

  • You think you need to go to A&E or need another NHS urgent care service
  • You need medical help or advice
  • You need health care information or reassurance

If your problem is life threatening, please go to A&E or call 999

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
